The move to Ottawa is going great. ASM Productions is going strong and we're trying to get the shop set back up so that we can bring you more updates. Just because everything is a mess with packing doesn't mean we haven't been working hard on new comic pages and more chapters for you to read. Unfortunately, until your artist can figure out how to use the scanner comic pages will have to stay in the box for a little while longer.
Never fear though for a new chapter is soon to be posted, and Nobu Radio is always up and running to let you know what we're listening too. Today's update has the following songs and artists joining the already long and varied list. Enjoy.

So after a lot of swearing, sweat and many threats that I'd throw the computer out the window in a desperate act to avoid staring at code for another hour; I think I fixed the issue that kept the journals posts under the sidebar, and kept mat from using the sidebar for quite some time.
My new computer has a large screen and wouldn't load the page proper, so I came down to the point where I had to fix it or not be able to use my own page properly anymore - and while annoying my comic partner is okay, I cannot allow this for our watchers or myself.
Be happy. FROLIC and when I fix the scanner I'll add more stuff. Any other bugs let me know.
Edit Nobu Radio now has an up to date song list. No new songs added though due to summer busy hours keeping us away.

I finally formatted Chapter; should be easier to read now. I'm really tired now, but want to work hard to continue this story no matter what. Moving August 3rd to Ottawa, Mat and I are busy with school, but not busy enough to ignore this.
My hopes and dreams lay in the future
and the future lays in the image that rotates within my mind.
I shall bright that future into reality
so that I can hold it in my hands and share it with all of you

First half of chapter 1 is up and the second part is half written and won't be long to follow, though right now my mother is in the hospital so I don't know how much I will be able to concentrate on this site or anything else until this situation is sorted out.

I've been writing and working a lot. Regretfully, preparations for the upcoming anime-north convention made me forget about this site for a short time. Particularly, my group screwing up and leaving me to rush around last minute to get everything fixed and back into working order.

I've uploaded the music I've been listening to while writing the next part of Kakutei Inzen, though I think the mood of the music will give a lot away about what comes next. Strangely, the majority of this story has been written either at work or on the bus ride home from it. A trend I hope doesn't continue when I move to Ottawa later this year.
Oh, that's right. Both Mat and myself have been accepted into Algonquin College and will be relocating later in the year. Wish us luck.

About freaking time right? Regardless, the drama picks up in the much more interesting second half.
Updates: Removed swearing and font. There was only one word, but it's not necessary. That isn't to say that ourt deary temper boy won't be doing it in the future. Further updates to come as I review this half of the prolog. Please continue to leave me notes on where I can improve! I really do appreciate it.

Please be kind and point out any grammar/spelling mistakes or places that could improvement. I would be very appreciate of this no matter how small or tiny it might seem.
Minor updates: Added characters ages,more description, and changed a bit of wording so it made more sense. Also changed the font to 'Courier New' which is what I'm using to write it on my computer.

The Mechanic
The story follows an assasin named Balthazar, also known as the Mechanic because all his weapons are altered mechanics tools, and is one of the top assassins in the world. Balthazar and his Operator, Leslie, work for the AFA, the Academy for the Fatal Arts and kill according with their laws.
Balthazar, and all assassins for that matter, are born with a natural addiction to killing. It's a drug that they need every few weeks or else they go into an excelerated withdrawl. This has been a closely guarded secret of the AFA and all assassins, but now has been compromised by an ambitious business man, William Major, looking to get revenge on Balthazar for the murder of his father. But it's not easy taking down one of the top 14 assassins in the AFA.

Edgar's Law
Ever make a deal with the devil? How about one of the devils? The movies always make the contracts look so simple, but what if they weren't?
Edgar, a 16 year old, boy finds a way to summon a devil, in the hopes that it would grant him a wish, when he gets more then he bargained for. The devil arrives, calling himself Beezlebub, and offers Edgar a contract. This gives him the ability to make wishes, within the laws set out by God and the Devil, but each wishes is paid for by a year of servitude in Hell. There's also a neat little clause explaining that the devil-touched mortals are responsible for killing any angel-touched mortals they may come across.
Edgar has to decide whether or not to sign the contract and accept the implications that come with it. Can he put his family and friends at risk, just to get whatever he wants? Can he try to outsmart the laws of God and the Devil?
